Shipping policy

Standard Delivery (UK)

Standard delivery is charged at £5.50. This is for a signature at the door or neighbours door. You will receive tracking via CJE & our chosen courier (DHL Parcel UK).
Our standard delivery timescale is 3-5 working days for orders within the UK.

Chess Jones Equestrian Ltd will not be held responsible for any postal / courier delays, which would be out of our control. If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be responsible to follow the returns procedure.

Two delivery attempts will be made and if your parcel is not received and returned for us, further shipping charges will be applied. 

Standard delivery is available for parcels under 2kg in weight to the UK only. If over 2kg, Next Day Delivery will be automatically generated. Free Shipping on orders over £150.00

Next Day Delivery (UK)

Next Day delivery is charged at £6.50.

Orders requiring next day delivery must be placed before 1pm the previous day and will need a signature upon delivery. Next day delivery does NOT include weekend delivery or anything ordered after 1pm on a Thursday.

Please allow an extra working day for deliveries over UK Bank Holidays. 

EU Orders

EU delivery is charged at a set price based on weight and location. VAT is automatically removed at checkout for all EU orders. 

Please note now the UK has left the EU there may be customs/import charges due upon delivery of your order dependent on the amount you have ordered. This is not a charge from CJE & will come directly from the courier delivering your parcel.

Before delivery, customs/your courier will contact you to pay these charges. You will not receive your order without paying these charges. When you place an order with us from outside of the UK, you are agreeing to pay the Tax & Duty charges that are specific to your country. We can not receive a shipment back as ‘Return to Sender’ unless these charges have been cleared. If you choose to not accept the shipment and pay for the charges, your shipment will be destroyed and you will not be entitled to a refund. 

International Orders

International delivery is charged based on parcel weight at checkout. VAT is removed at checkout for all international orders. 

All international orders will be posted via a tracked / signed for service. Delivery timescales will vary, depending on the destination of the order. Chess Jones Equestrian will not be held responsible for any delays on delivery.

Please Note: There may be small variations between the value of your confirmed foreign currency order and the amount you are finally charged by your card provider. This is due to possible exchange rate fluctuations between two separate service providers. 

Certain countries may encounter Customs charges, these are dictated by the particular country and as such we have no control over this. Please speak to your country's tax office before placing an order if you wish to know if additional charges will occur.
